It was so much fun creating this girly invite for Amelia's 2nd Birthday! I used riding hood red, pink pirouette, chocolate chip, and whisper white cardstock. I also layered a piece of pink pirouette designer series paper: I punched one end with the scallop punch, then folded both edges up to show the pattern on the other side. I used markers to add color to the frosting, stand and cherry. The sparkles come from dabbing two-way glue, then sprinkling dazzling diamonds over the frosting.This card reminds me of an ice cream scoop shoppe. I love the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and Amelia loves cupcakes so this was an easy choice!
On the inside I used the Hugs and Wishes stamp set and the "for" is from another favorite set of mine All Holidays.

I LOVE the invite. The the "cafe" look to the front of the card is great! Do I get to come and eat some cupcakes,too. JK :)
